So, I recently completed my OR (Operating Room)/Anesthesiology Airway Management Rotation, that is where we get to go into the OR and do our intubations (place breathing tubes in people) .  I got 27 out of 30 intubations got to use the newest line of Glidescopes (a laryngoscope with a video camera attached to it) you get to see the vocal cords on a video screen as you pass the tube through them and into the airway.  Most of the other students in my class got 4 or 5 one guy got 8, but so far I got the record!!!  Thanks again for all of your support!! You guys are all in my thoughts, I sure do miss the HELL outta you all!!! If anyone has an older system that will play some of the newer games and it's just collecting dust let me know.  I really want to get back in the game with you all!!

Hey y'all, just wantedto let you all know I'm still kicking.  I lost my desktop so essentially my gaming has stopped.  I cannot afford to replace it as of right now.  I passed my didactic (classroom) portion of the Paramedic program, and have moved into the Hospital Clinicals.  I am currently on my second rotation (the Operating room) where I get to follow the anesthesiologist and intubate (place a breathing tube) patients prior to their surgery.  Today was my first day in the OR and I rocked it!!! I got 7 out of 9 intubations on my first day, which is nearly unheard of!!

Thank you all for your support and keeping me around even though I have not been here.  I am still here in SPIRIT!!!!  I truly miss all of you my good friends!!

I love the Paramedic Training stuff, having a bit of trouble with Rhythmn Generated EKG strip ID but I am getting everything else.  We are in the class two days a week then in Skills lab on Thursdays, doing IVs and working on Skills (we have 11 skills that we are tested on) Each week we have three to four tests/quizzes each week.  Med quizzes are 100% memorization. Our Skills sheet quizzes are memorization, we are given the skills sheet and 10 spaces for the skill and critical criteria are blank, we have to fill in the blanks correctly, then the following week we get the next skill exactly the same, and the previous skill has three different blank spaces and so on...  We have to pass all of our exams with a minimum score of 80% or we are out of the program.

Good luck with your nursing stuff, if you have any questions let me know I might be able to help you too!!

Sarah, welcome aboard the {Sn][per} Train!!! Tell Gizmo, CAV says howdy. I hope to chat with you in TS soon, I'm not up to speed as far as the newer games but still play BF2 and COD4.  I am also a student, working on my Fire Protection Degree and my Paramedic Degree, not to mention a Bachelors in Fire Service Administration.  Good Luck in school,

Hey guys, Blue Khan has been trying to get onto the website and cannot seem to get it worked out.  Please let him get registered, and setup.  He would also like to know the server info for the BFBC2 server.

Thanks,

Necro, I'm danged glad to see you back amongst our ranks!!!  I'm only saddened that I'm too busy these days right now to play.  I am currently attending the Paramedic Program at Portland Community College, and it pretty much consumes al of my free time.  Glad your back, i'll try to slip into TS and say howdy.
